Privacy & Cookies

1. Who we are

Brandy Digital Limited (company number 06951395, registered office Primary House, Spring Gardens, Macclesfield SK10 2DX, England) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

This site has no accounts, no forms and no analytics. The personal data we receive through it is limited to what you choose to send us — for example when you email dave@brandydigital.com, call us, or contact us via LinkedIn. That will typically include your name, contact details and whatever you write about your business.

Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes standard server logs — IP address, requested pages, browser type — to deliver the site and detect country for language selection. These logs are retained briefly for security and operations.

3. Cookies

This site uses only essential, first-party storage:

We set no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies. If that ever changes, this page and the cookie notice will be updated first, and non-essential cookies will only be set with your consent.

4. Why we process your data

We use correspondence you send us to respond to you and, where you ask us to, to prepare proposals — our legitimate interest in operating a business, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

5. Retention and sharing

Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping. We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that run our infrastructure (such as hosting and email), under their own data processing terms.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise them, email dave@brandydigital.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
